Japan is built on a way of thinking that differs from the modern Western worldview. In Japanese culture, mind and matter are not separated. They are deeply connected – even when that connection cannot be seen or fully explained. Life is understood as a part of a grater whole. In today’s global society, many people feel a growing sense of disconnection. Technology continues to advance, yet meaning, balance, and genuine connection often feel harder to find. Rather than rejecting ongoing values, we believe there is value in offering another perspective – one that has quietly existed in Japan for centuries.
Human beings are the only creatures who use language to share ideas, emotions, and imagination. Because of this, we believe language is one the most powerful tools we are given. This belief is at the heart of what we do. Through language and cultural exploration, we aim to build understanding across cultures. We believe the Japanese language – Nihongo – has a unique ability to connect mind and heart, self and world. By learning Nihongo, people may discover not only a new language, but also a new way of seeing life and relating to others.
Our Linguistic Method
We made a linguistic method to realize this mission. The name of the method is IAM Japanese. We believe this linguistic method unites humans, and this makes us get started to a new dimension. The IAM Japanese is so unique and easy way to learn Nihongo. We call ourselves IAM Japan as the provider of this method.

Method Developer
Mr. Etsuro "Boni" Kawamura: he was the inventor and developer of IAM Japanese. He was in the Philippines for 20 years. While staying in the country, he made the said linguistic method. He was teaching Nihongo in the Graduate School of University of Santo Tomas, Manila, as an associate professor. His original method was made while teaching in the school. The method was recognized by the Philippine and Japanese Government. The students and professional Filipinos trained by him were over 2,000 people. Now, he is in Japan as a linguistic teacher, author, and YouTuber.
